Volunteer Spotlight: Becky Newhart

Posted on Updated on

Let’s face it: There are things that ESSA does that we need volunteers to help. We have some of the best volunteers in Eureka Springs. The Volunteer Spotlight is one way they can get some recognition for their hard work

This week’s Volunteer Spotlight is on Becky Newhart.

She has helped ESSA as a volunteer and as a work/study student during the Terry Russel clay workshop. She lives near the ESSA campus, which made it particularly handy when she was able to open the building on Saturdays for instructors to do early set-up. She has also helped with the Mad Hatter Ball. This year, she worked with registration, the silent auction, and transporting items to the Crescent Hotel for the ball.

When talking about all that Becky has done to help, Sabina Miller, ESSA’s program coordinator, said, “I could go on and on. How much space do you have?”

Becky, thank you for all of your help!
